What is Realms of Fantasy?
At the age of 11, a short time after first being handed 'The Hobbit' to read by Murray, my dad, I picked up the three volumes that were Tolkien's, 'Lord of the Rings'. From that point on, I became hooked on fantasy, and the ability it had to create a whole new world, without me having to leave the comforts of my own bedroom. As a form of progression, although Tolkien remains one of my most highly regarded authors, I discovered Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman's Dragonlance novels. This fascination has grown to encompass countless other authors, and several other worlds...

As an avid reader of these worlds novels for some years now, I see the wonders of the web, as a way, for me, to be able to convey my appreciation of such works to the world. Furthermore, I see it as a tool which I can use to A: Assist me in completing my library of books, and B: Inspire others to either pick up one such text, and hopefully gain the same enjoyment as I have; or, assist them in doing as I am, and that is completing their respective collection of works. So I suppose Realms of Fantasy has therefore been created to reach those goals, and to be used as a reference point for others with the same interests as I.

This little hut at the base of the Hylo hills...
When an excitable young Kender, Cal Pebblewaite, stumbled upon my home in the wee hours of one morn (Wee hour at least for one such as I, accustomed as I was to a midday rise) and told me the tale of an incredible flying ship, supposedly from another world, my dismissal of it as nothing more than ravings was immediate. Now, with years passed, and me, a much wiser man than the ignorant young shepherd I once was, I have since collected many such tales, which I here hope to collate, and place in some sort of Chronological order, for your perusal... I hope you enjoy

It doesn't have to be me alone...
I also welcome contributions. Anything that you think may be of benefit, would be welcomed, even feedback. I cannot guarantee all material will be used, but any effort made, will be greatly appreciated.
