Here i have listed, in no particular order, 5 of the texts that I view as the best I have thus far read and/or most influential

Flint the King
Rarely has a book with so much meaning, illustrating prejudices and ills towards supposedly inferior people and/or races, achieved it with such humor and dignity
|
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
It is hard to ignore this, the parent novel of the fantasy bookworlds that are my dedication here. Ah, and to meet the Kender, without which this world would smile that bit less... however wry that grin.
|
The Crystal Shard
Again an introduction. This time to the explosive writing style of Salvatore, and to his wonderful characters who are recognised across the world as some of the readers favourites.
|
The Lost Library of Cormanthyr
An interesting inclusion perhaps. But I was intrigued from the start, from the archaeological pursuits of Baylee Arnvold, to the musty Tomes of Candlekeep. A great novel.

The Outcast
This novel was my first foray into the world of Athas. Its bone and obsidian weapons. It's cannibalistic Halflings. Its psionic powers. It was new, it was exciting... and very, very deadly.
